This is an amalgamation of India's two most loved handicrafts- 'Lehriya dyeing' and 'Jutti making'! Lehriya is a very popular, but very specialised technige of dyeing in the state of Rajasthan, mainly in saris worn by the royalty. We mixed the elegance and beauty of the lehriya in pink and white diagnal lines, embroidered with various techniques of gold gota, badla and sequin, finished with orange french knots to bring that pop! This off centre embroidery follows in the front and back of the jutti! Please note- the lehriya base of the jutti is hand dyed and is a highly skilled work of craft, and therefore no two juttis can be identical and will vary in the lines. And that is the beauty of this extra ordinary handicraft! PRO TIP- Team this up with a pastel pink or an all ivory gold and let the jutti pop! You could also wear it with a bubblegum pink and do a colour on colour! For a contrast, mix it up with mint, yellow or even a black!
