Beeba (Jutti)

Inspired by the regal handwork of Suchha Kaam (real gold embroidery) that was done using gold metal threads on saris and lehngas of the royal women of India.When discovered, this rich ancient embroidery was carried back from East to the West through the silk route! This beautiful art went beyond royalty, to several homes where the girls in the family were gifted a Suchha Kaam attire with their jewellery on their weddings and further passed down across generations as heirloom pieces.

Our Beeba jutti is an ode to that. Intricately crafted using dori, zari, dabka and sequin in colours of deep and antique gold on a gold silk base, this jutti is one to be admired.

Care

Dry Clean Only! Store your juttis in the dust bag provided to you with your box or in a muslin cloth Our juttis are extremely soft, but if your feet are feeling extra sensitive, line the inside of your juttis with mustard oil for a day and leave. Keep them dry and away from moisture. If at all exposed to moisture, please dry them out for a few hours before putting them back in.
