Memsaab (Batua purse)

This batua purse has a statement medallion, which is framed by a single kundan tukdhi and concentric rings of faux pearls, emeralds, and tanzanites. Set against an ivory Indian silk base, the composition is balanced with delicately hand-embroidered floral clusters using glass beads and sequins, lending the surface a light, scattered rhythm. The vintage-inspired kiss-lock closure and metal sling chain allow it to be carried as both a clutch and a sling.
